The House Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Designed on “Rock the Block” Just Sold for $635,000

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent may not have won Rock the Block Season Two, but the home they designed for it was a win in the eyes of the buyers. The six-bedroom house located in Dallas, Georgia, has sold for $635,000, according to Realtor.com. The home, which went on the market last month, stood out during the competition for its all-brick exterior that cost Nate and Jeremiah $40,000 from their $225,000 budget.

As Berkus said during an episode: “Brick you never have to replace. It’s forever.” The designer stated on Instagram that he and Jeremiah’s “inspiration for the exteriors was the classic architecture and gardens of #Atlanta.”

Some highlights from inside the house include: a screened-in porch with French doors, a kitchen equipped with forest-green cabinetry and a handcrafted island, and a movie theater. There is also a separate two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen located in the basement—perfect for renting out!

“We came to the ‘block’ to create a home that was rooted in history and story—a home that would age beautifully and serve as the perfect backdrop for generations to come,” Brent wrote on Instagram. “Design and value, for us, is when you walk into a home and can feel its soul.”
